All about Tayden:
Tayden turned 4 in January. He is rather big for his age and loves to let me know it! He needs me less and less every day, which makes me sad and proud all at the same time! He is always up for a party, and before one ends, he is planning the next! He has a smile that will melt your heart, even when he is in trouble, which saves his bacon ALOT!!! Tayden is the most clever and funny kid. He is figuring out how the world works and makes so many comical connections. Yesterday, he told a "mama" joke to Bo on the tramp. I was inside, but Bo told me later. I mentioned it to Tayden at dinner and he looks at me and said, "How did you hear? I said it VERY quietly! Was the door open?" We laughed and laughed! Who's 4 year old knows mama jokes??? Tayden loves dirt or anything else that sticks to his clothes-the messier the better! He loves watching cartoons with Grandpa Jan, going to gymnastics, playing with friends, teaching Ryker anything, helping Mom, chocolate milk, chips, walking the dogs, reading books, flexing his muscles, back tickles, and TREATS!!! We just love him and plan on staying very busy enjoying his unique ways for many years to come!

We like it Hot, Hot, Hot!
Tayden loves Doritos as much as his mom and dad do! So it was a given when he wanted some when we opened the new bag the other night. The problem is that they were "fiery habenero" flavor. I tried to convince him that he didn't want to try them, but he insisted! So he grabbed one then another, and another!!! He ate about 10 chips! I couldn't believe it! Then he looked up at me and said, "I think I need a drink now"! His Papa Jan was so proud to hear that Tayden likes the heat!

New Posts At Last!!!
Sorry about not having anything new lately! (Karin!!!) I was having some computer issues, but we are much better now. So here are several posts to catch you up to what we have been doing!
Guitar Hero is very hard!!! I think they need to put on the label "Try at your own risk. This product will make you look retarded and people will laugh at you!!!" Just a suggestion! Tayden was begging to play so Aunt Angie helped him. The saddest part is that he did better than me!
Did I mention that I hate video games? Being booed off the stage by cartoon people really did a number on my self-esteem! I am definitely eating some chocolate to recover from this!!! I'll take a deck of cards any day over this!!!

Cheapest Toy Ever!
Ryker has discovered that he loves paper! As long as it stays out of his mouth, it makes us both happy! He is getting too big too fast! He is the happiest little boy. He loves just being in the same room as Tayden, and he will follow his voice anywhere! He cried the hardest I have ever seen him cry the other day and it was all over food-Bo has never been so proud! I fed him a jar of carrots, lots of oatmeal and 5 ounces of formula and the kid freaks out when it is gone!!! So if anyone wants to donate to the "Feed the Roundy Boys" fund, let me know!

Keeping the Kids out of Trouble!
Last Saturday, March 29th, Bo and I took the kids on a kids play-date! We had a blast! (And I think the kids had fun too!) They made paper portraits, cut their names out of play-dough, read books, played games, made slime, watched a hula dancer (I covered Bo's eyes!!!), ate pineapple, and played musical intruments!!! And we fit that all in before lunch! What a fun day!

Hippity Hop! Easter Already???
March and Easter? Seems pretty weird to me, but Tayden didn't think twice when he saw eggs to find! So let the egg-finding begin! We started the Easter festivities out with an egg hunt at the Abbey's. Heather put together an awesome hunt for the kids. I'll thank her later for all the sugar she sent us home with! Tayden, Jax, and Makayla are the best of buds!
This is the loot at the Nibley City Easter Egg Hunt! He had a shoe mishap, which prevented him from getting very much, but he had fun so my competitive nature had to let it slide!!! I am the youngest and am very scrappy!!! I will try not to hold my boys to the same standard!
This is Tayden and Makayla at Macey's. Macey's is one of those great neighborhood grocery stores that does fun stuff for the kids every holiday! We took the kids to the store right after the park just to get a little more candy! You can never have enough!
Here is Tayden at Grandma and Grandpa Thomas' house on Easter Sunday. This year he had the Easter egg hunt all to himself, so he found a lot of candy and a lot of money! Bo and I asked if we could find some eggs, but Tayden is way too fast for us! We really missed seeing Shane, Mindy and the kids, but we know schedules are hard to work out!

Keeping Us Busy!
Tayden is always keeping us busy! This is a picture of him talking on the phone to Grandma Karen. He just loves talking on the phone-most days!
The other day I could hear Tayden "reading" his books, so I was trying to sneek up on him to take a picture and couldn't find him in his room. I found him in Ryker's room! He had climbed into Ryker's crib and was reading to him!!! He just loves being a big brother and finds that waking up Ryker for storytime falls into the "big brother qualifications"!
Tayden found the best hiding spot from Bo the other day! We could not figure out how he got into the window and behind the blinds, so we asked him to show us. After convincing him that he wasn't in trouble, he showed us. That kid can hoist himself up in the window without standing on anything and then do a balancing act to get behind the blinds! Watch out circus, Tayden's skills might put you out of business!

First Black Eye!!!
So I know it is hard to see, but this is Tayden's very first black eye!!! Now, before you all jump to conclusions, let me just say that this is an accidental run-in with a chair, a hard-wood floor, and a crazy kid! His parents had nothing to do with it! This kid has football in his genes, so I am sure it won't be his last, unfortunately!
